...or Mono printing reimagined. This original technique utilizes fusible web to transfer your original painted imagery to Organza using metallic acrylic textile paints. You will be able to create a completely new and unique form of art quilt. This process is unlike any other printing process, it is not a reverse process…what you see is what you get. This makes it a breeze to incorporate the written word and numbers into your imagery or to segue into abstraction. Bring 11x17” “ or 16” x 20” glossy photo quality of a close up of a favorite place, façade, architecture, or interesting still life for inspiration and interpretation. This is a technique at which anyone can succeed. If you've never painted before...you can! Free your creative muse with this new and innovative technique.

Rembrandt, La Tour, Caravaggio, all incorporated the technique of using a single, directional light source to create depth and drama in their imagery. Using traditional compositional elements further enhanced by textile paints you will create an expressive portrait juxtaposing light and dark as your tools of intrigue.
